Please complete the Census materials if you have not.Acomplete Census count is important to the city, county, state and school district. Federal dollars and representation are determined by the numbers determined in the Census. Most invitations include the simple form that can be completed online or in writing in 10 minutes or less. If you do not have a computer available or would like assistance completing the materials, city staff is available to help. Simply call city hall and set up a free appointment. Spread the word to friends and neighbors and United States® help everyone get Census counted. 2020 Water efficiency rebates nvailablp ity of Shorewood is offering rebates for WaterSense toilets, irrigation controls and sprinkler heads. The funding is provided through a grant from Metropolitan Council, the Clean Water Legacy Amendment and Riley Purgatory Creek Watershed District. Residents on municipal water who replace older units with WaterSense certified units are able to apply for rebates of up to $50 per toilet (two maximum), $200 per irrigation controller and $15 per sprinkler head (maximum 15). All products must be installed on a Shorewood property and purchased between February 15, 2020, and March 15, 2022, while funds last. No new construction homes or businesses qualify. The intent of the sale is to diversify Shorewood's tree stock in an effort to reduce the ef- fects of tree diseases such as Emerald Ash Borer and Dutch Elm Disease. Orders will be processed for single family homeowners. Townhouse and association properties should contact the city for order. Unlike a retail nursery, these trees do not have a warranty.
