RESOLUTION 20 -029
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
FACILITY ROOF POJECT, CITY PROJECT 19 -06
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood authorized preparation of plans,
specifications, and estimate by Inspec Inc, for the Public Works Facility Roof
Project on July 8, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Inspec Inc. has prepared Plans and Specifications for the,
Public Works Facility Roof Project, City Project 19 -06, to include removal of the
existing roof structure, furnishing and installing a new membrane roof structure
and appurtenances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota:
The Plans and Specifications were prepared by inspec Inc. for such
improvement. Said Plans and Specifications are hereby approved
and shall be filed with the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and according to Minnesota State Law an advertisement for
bids, upon the making of such improvement under such approved
plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for
3 weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will
be opened and considered by the city at the specified time and
date, in the City Hall Council Chambers, and that no bids will be
considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied
by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check
payable to the Clerk for 5 percent of the amount of each bid.
