NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that
the Planning Commission of the
City of Shorewood will hold a pub-
lic hearing in the Council Chambers
of the Shorewood City Hall, 5755
Country Club Road, Shorewood,
Minnesota, on Tuesday, 1 Novem-
ber 2016 at 7:00 P.M. or as soon
thereafter as possible. The pur-
pose of the hearing is to consider
rezoning twelve properties located
within the range of addresses
24725 through 25015 Smithtown
Road and from 5765 through 5830
Club Lane. It is proposed to rezone
the properties from R -1A, Single
Family Residential to R -1C, Single
Family Residential.
The legal descriptions of the
properties are on file at City Hall.

PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
Who: City of Shorewood, Smithtown Road and Club Lane Properties
What: Public Hearing for request of a Zoning District Amendment
Why: At the October 4th meeting, the Planning Commission was asked to consider
rezoning two properties, at 24845 Smithtown Road and 5810 Club Lane, from
R -IA, Single- family Residential to R -1C, Single- family Residential. The
rezoning would reduce the minimum lot size requirement from 40,000 square feet
to 20,000 square feet as well as reducing the building setback requirements. The
Commission directed that all twelve properties located around the intersection of
Smithtown Road and Club Lane be included in the rezoning. The properties
within the address ranges of 24725 through 25015 Smithtown Road and 5765
through 5830 Club Lane will be considered for rezoning from R -IA to R -1C.
When: Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible
Where: Shorewood City Hall Council Chambers, 5755 Country Club Road, Shorewood
