Please make note of the following: A) any street vacation accrues to the abutting fee owner. Since the area shaded in light blue was acquired in a Highway easement, any vacation of the east half of Galphin Lake road would go to the current underlying fee holder and not to the owners of Lots 188 & 187. and B) the portion of the public street outlined in dark blue was taken into the Trunk Highway System by the writing of a Commissioner's Order (which never get recorded) .... so saying that the vacation is north of TH 7 as described in Final Certificate is not technically accurate. The Final Certificate only describes real property (Lots and Blocks of Quarter Quarters) that were acquired in a condemnation action.
