20-110CITY OF SHOREWOOD COUNTY OF HENNEPIN STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 20 -110 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE PROPSAL FOR MS4 & STORM POND BATHYMETRIC SURVEY WHEREAS, the City is designated as a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) through the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency; and WHEREAS, the MS4 permit requires complying with six main objectives: 1. Public Education and Outreach, 2. Public Participation /Involvement, 3. Illicit Discharge Detection & Elimination, 4. Construction Site Storm Water Control, 5. Post Construction Storm Water Management, and 6. Pollution Prevention /Good Housekeeping; and WHEREAS, in complement with the MS4 requirements the City would like to complete a bathymetric survey of the cities storm water ponds to understand the amount of accumulated volume and level of contaminations within that sediment; and WHEREAS, the City will use this information to plan and budget for future maintenance activities; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council of the City of Shorewood, Minnesota accepts the proposal provided by Bolton & Menk for the MS4 and Storm Pond Bathymetric Survey for $43,380.
