A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH CELLCO PARTNERSHIP
d/b/a VERIZON WIRELESS FOR SPACE TO INSTALL ANTENNAS AND RELATED
EQUIPMENT ON THE CITY'S WATER TOWER LOCATED AT 26352 SMITHTOWN
ROAD
WHEREAS, The city of Shorewood was contacted by representatives of Verizon
Wireless to lease space on the city's water tower located at 26352 Smithtown Road;
and,
WHEREAS, City staff negotiated with representative of Verizon for lease terms; and,
WHEREAS, A tentative agreement has been reached that is consistent with lease
agreements the City has with other wireless providers,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The "Water Tower Space Lease Agreement, Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon
Wireless for the city water tower located at 26350 Smithtown Road" is hereby approved
as presented.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the city
of Shorewood.
Adopted by the City Council of Shorewood, Minnesota this 25th day of January, 2021.
