CODE TITLED "SALE
OFTOBACCO"
Section 1. Shorewood City
Council hereby amends City Code
Chapter 302 Sale of Tobacco to re-
flect and align with Federal Legisla-
tion passed on December 20, 2019
raising the age of sale of tobacco
products from 18 to 21 years. In
addition, housekeeping updates
to the chapter include removing
an outdated reference to offender
education programs and updating
the definition of a minor as applica-
ble. A full copy of Ordinance 571 is
available in the City Clerk's office at
City Hall and on the City's website.
Section 2. This ordinance
adopting Ordinance 571 Amending
Chapter 302 of Shorewood City
Code Titles Sale of Tobacco shall
take effect upon publication in the
City's official newspaper.
