Barr Engineering Report
Background:
Due to a number of stormwater issues in the western part of Shorewood,
the city engaged Barr Engineering to evaluate the present conditions and identify
potential alternatives to address the issues in a comprehensive manner. Staff has met
with Barr Engineering twice during the preparation of this report and included MCWD
staff as the report has been developed.
Jen Koehler, Senior Water Resources Engineer at Barr, will be at the meeting to go
over the report with the council. Staff has also been looking at how the
recommendations can be incorporated into the city’s infrastructure CIP. That
information will be presented in draft form at the next work session.
