RESOLUTION NO. 12 -052
AUTHORIZE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR PICNIC TABLES
WHEREAS, the City Council budgeted $14,000 for replacement of picnic tables in
Shorewood parks for 2012; and
WHEREAS, the dollar amount is not sufficient to replace all the remaining picnic tables
this year; and
WHEREAS, it is more efficient to replace the remaining tables in one order than splitting
the purchase between two years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SHOREWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Capital Improvement Plan and Park Capital Fund budgets are hereby amended
to an amount of $16,500.
2. Staff is authorized to purchase an additional 12 tables for replacement at parks
throughout the city.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 27th day of
August, 2012.
