RESOLUTION NO. I4 -080
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
THE 2014 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 14 -04
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for local improvements designated as
the 2014 Mill and Overlay Project, City Project 14 -04, bids were received, and opened on
September 18, 2014, and tabulated according to law, and such tabulation is attached hereto and
made a part hereof as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that GMH Asphalt Corporation is the
lowest bidder in compliance with the bid documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with GMH Asphalt Corporation in the name of the City of Shorewood, Project No. 14-
04, according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except for the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next two lowest bidders, which shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
