RESOLUTION NO. 14 -085
A RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR
GIDEON GLEN CONSERVATION OPEN SPACE PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for local improvements designated as the
Gideon Glen Conservation Open Space Parking Lot Improvements Project, bids were received,
opened on September 19, 2014, tabulated according to law, and such tabulation is attached hereto
and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Midwest Asphalt Corporation of Eden
Prairie, MN is the lowest bidder in compliance with the specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood
as follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to reject all bids received for this
project based upon project costs exceeding the budgeted construction costs.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
the deposits made with the said bids.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 221' day
of September, 2014.
