RESOLUTION NO. 19 -078
CITY OF SHOREWOOD
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INCREASES IN THE BUDGET FOR BADGER
PARK PROJECT, CITY PROJECT 19 -01
WHEREAS, the Shorewood City Council awarded the contract for Badger Park
Playground, City Project 19 -01, on May 13, 2019, to Blackstone Contractors, LLC.; and
WHEREAS, the Shorewood City Council awarded a separate contract for the Picnic
Shelter building to Structural Wood on July 8, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Change Order 2 for project 19 -01 is necessary to facilitate the timely
completion of improvements; and
WHEREAS, Change Order 2 will increase the project construction costs in the amount
of $6,035, and,
WHEREAS, the increase in the picnic shelter building budget is necessary to construct
the pilings and foundation to safely withstand the elements; and,
WHEREAS, the increase in the picnic shelter building budget will increase the project
construction costs by $14,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Shorewood
hereby approves Change Order Number 2 and the increase to the budget for the picnic
shelter building.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 26th day of
