RESOLUTIONS 19 -085
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT
AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
THE WOODSIDE ROAD AND WOODSIDE LANE STREET RECLAMATION
AND WATERMAIN EXTENSION PROJECT, CITY PROJECT 19 -04
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized preparation of a Feasibility Report for
the Woodside Road and Woodside Lane Street Reclamation Project and
Watermain Extension Project, City Project 19 -04, on May 28, 2019; and
WHEREAS, WSB prepared a Feasibility Report which was received by the City
Council on September 5t", 2019; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed
improvements are necessary, cost - effective, and feasible; whether it should best
be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Council receives the Feasibility Report prepared by WSB; and
2. The Council will consider the improvement of the Woodside Road and
Woodside Lane Street Reclamation Project and Watermain Extension
Project, City Project 19 -04, in accordance with the report at an estimated cost
of $1,371,000; and
3. Authorizes the preparation of plans and specifications for the Woodside Road
and Woodside Lane Street Reclamation Project and Watermain Extension
Project, City Project 19 -04
