CITY OF SHOREWOOD
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN ESTIMATE AND AUTHORIZING INSTALLATION
OF EDGE CONTROL FOR FREEMAN PARK SOUTH PLAYGROUND
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood ( "City ") requested estimates for enlarging and
maintaining the edge control around Freeman Park South Playground; and
WHEREAS, the projects were below the threshold necessitating competitive public
bidding; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the estimates at a public meeting on September
23, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Shorewood,
Minnesota:
1. The quote from Minnesota Lawn and Landscaping in the amount of $6,753 is the
lowest quote received.
2. Staff are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contracts with the above
contractors for and on behalf of the City of Shorewood.
