A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL FOR SURVEYING SERVICES TO
IDENTIFY THE LOCATION OF THE FIRE LANES
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood ( "City ") requested a proposal from the Bolton and
Menk for surveying the Fire Lanes adjacent to Lake Minnetonka and Lake William; and
WHEREAS, the project is below the threshold necessitating competitive public bidding;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the proposal at a public meeting on February 24,
2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Shorewood,
Minnesota hereby accepts the proposal for services as identified below:
1. The proposal from Bolton and Menk in the amount of $10,800- $12,100,
assuming about an hour of surveying for each fire lane.
2. Staff are hereby authorized and directed to sign the proposal with Bolton and
Menk for and on behalf of the City of Shorewood.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 24th day of
February, 2020.
