Public Notice: Police Body Cameras
In accordance with Minnesota State Statute Chapter 626, Sec. 626.8473,
Subd. 2, the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department will be holding a
public comment opportunity regarding the body-worn camera (BWC)
program at the regularly scheduled October 10, 2018 Coordinating
Committee meeting at 5:30 p.m. Chief Meehan will present the BWC
program and policy during the meeting. The Coordinating Committee will
allow for public comments/questions on the BWC program and policy
during the meeting as well. The Coordinating Committee also will accept
written comments submitted electronically by email
(mmeehan@southlakepd.com) or by U.S. mail (SLMPD, 24150 Smithtown
Road, Shorewood, MN 55331). Written comments must be received by
4:30 p.m. on October 10, 2018. If you have further questions, please feel
