The minutes of the last meeting were approved as read. Had first reading of an ordinance providing for a Traffic Violations Bureau fN r the new Municipal Court, with sedond reading and adoption at next regular meeting. Council unanimously passed a resolution whereby Shorewood shall appropriate funds of $500-00 from the General Fund to the joint Municipal Court, payable by December 1., 1962. (detailed resolution on file) Action was tabled on the request of Deephaven to be permitted to join the Municipal Court,, to enable the Judge to make a recommendation after they have sN me indication of the work load. Adopted a resolution approving a bond in the amount of $1000.00 for the Clerk N f Municipal Court., Mrs. Dorothy Guth. The council unanimously approved the new Fire Service Contract with the Mound Volunteer Fire Department to serve that part of Enchanted Island and Shady Island lying within the limits of Shorewood for the year 1963 for a total of $400.00 including any calls made. Report was made by Mrs. Osha on the horse permits issued. Trustee Wakefield agreed to contact Henry Hoe, Minnetonka Manor personally to see if the terms Nf the permit are being complied with. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as read. Mr. Frank Schwartz presented an architectfs sketch of two proposed apartment buildings to be built on the Schwartz property. Trustee Janvrin moved that set a public hearing on the matter for December 10., 1962,,our next council meeting. Seconded by Trustee Freyermuth and carried. Mr. James Hawks and Mr, Dahlberg of Midwest Planning and Research, presented the council with a "Planning ReportIt prepared for Mrs. Eva Hershey, concerning the ttvalidity of non-conforming use" as it effects the Christmas Lake Motel owned and operated by Mrs. Hershey. They explained the report and the council agreed to study the report and take up at the January meeting.
