SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

A special meeting of theShorewood City Council was called at
6:30 P.M. in the council chambers.
Present were Mayor Frazier, Naegele, Haugen and Shaw. Keeler was
absent (death in family).
Staff present: Attorney Kelly and Clerk Wiltsey.
BIDS ON TRACTOR-MOWER
Clerk presented the 3 bids that had been received on the tractor-
mower pursuant to advertisement in the paper. Bids were received
and opened at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 29, 1980, by Clerk Wiltsey
and Superintendent Studer.
Following are the bids received:
Itasca Equipment - one used (73-74) Model
- one used (73-74) CM165
Rotary Mower
Long Lake Ford Tractor & Equipment, Inc.
- one New Ford 231-Diesel
- $7,963
- $9,500
- $9,873

Moved by Frazier, seconded by Haugen, to award the bid to Long Lake
Ford Tractor, Inc. for $9,873.00. Motion carried; Frazier, Naegele
and Haugen voted aye; Shaw abstained.
LIQUOR LICENSE
Moved by Haugen, seconded by Naegele, to approve the on-sale liquor
license and Sunday on-sale liquor license for the Minnetonka Country
Club, to expire May 31, 1981. Motion carried unanimously.
Moved by Haugen, seconded by Naegele, to raise the club on-sale
liquor license to $250.00 for the license to expire May 31, 1981.
Motion carried unanimously.
COUNCIL MEETING - June 23 - 6:30
Moved by Haugen~and seconded to cancel the meeting for June 9th due
to possible lack of quorum and schedule the regular meeting for
June 23rd at 6:30 P.M. Motion carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION ~ Comrnendationfor Father Bullock
Moved by Shaw, seconded by Haugen, to adopt a resolution commending
Father Bullock of St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church, on his
appointment as Auxiliary Bishop. Motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
Moved by Haugen and seconded to adjourn the special meeting at
6:55 P.M. Motion carried unanimously.
