CALL TO ORDER
Shorewood City Council reconvened as the Shorewood Board of Review
at 7:30 PM on June 12, 1984, in the Council Chambers to review the
assessed valuation placed on real estate property in Shorewood.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Rascop, Councilmembers Gagne, Stover, Shaw, and
Haugen (7:48 PM)
Staff: County Assessor Milt Hilk and Clerk Kennelly
REQUESTS
The following property owners came before Council for review of
their assessed valuations:
Robert Peterson
5474 Covington Rd. PID# 36-117-23-21-0002
The County Assessor reviewed the property in May of 19~4 and felt
their valuation was correct. County had a valuation set at
4It $388,000 (land $168,000 - bldg. $220,000).
Stover moved, seconded by Gagne to reduce to $289,400 (land $110,000
- bldg. $179,400). Motion carried unanimously.

The County Assessor has inspected the property and has reduced it
to a total of $155,000 for the two properties in combination, from
$158,400 on house parcel and 8,000 on lot. He recommended that
the two parcels be joined. Webster indicated that this has been
done but not completed at the County level.

Mr. Bruce presented a request for a reduction in valuation from
$344,100 ($150,000 land and $194,100 bldg.). In 1984 the Council
by Resolution No. 47-83 reduced his valuation to $296,000
($110,000 land and $186,000 bldg.) for 1983 payable 1984. The
County did not reduce it as directed.

The County reappraised and reduced from $337,000 to $309,300.
Gagne moved, seconded by Haugen to accept the County's reduced
assessment. Motion carried unanimously.

Gagne moved, seconded by Haugen to accept the reappraisal of the
County. Motion carried unanimously.
Fredrick Corrigan Letter
Mr. Corrigan's letter was read. The Council took no action in
reference to this letter.
ADJOURNMENT
Moved by Rascop, seconded by Haugen to close the Shorewood Board
of Review at 9:10 P.M. Motion carried unanimously.
