CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Rascop opened the Budget Review meeting of Tuesday, September
23, 1986 in the Council Chambers at 7:36 PM.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Rascop, Councilm~mbers Stover, Gagne, Haugen
and Shaw (Haugen and Shaw arrived at 7:45 PM)
Staff Admifuistrator Vogt, Finance Director Beck, Planner/
Bldg Inspector Nieilis~n, Public Works Director Zdrazil,
Clerk Kennelly, and Finance Committee Member Bridge.

BUDGET REVIEW,
Administrator Vogt began the 1987 Budget Review with an explanation
of this years procedures. illhe actual mill rate will no be cal-
culated until the end of this year, but this budget currently
reflects approximately a 1~ m~ll increase. The City's assessed
valuation has gone up from last year as in the past.
Vogt reviewed the Summary of di~bursement~; Infrastructure
Replacement Fund proposed at $108,000; Revenues; Contributions
from Liquor Stores for revenues; contingency, Fund '(December 1985
contingency fund amount at $249,363.00); Equipment Certificates;
and Salaries. Council would like to see the ~ntended salaries
split out separately for each employee and held in the contingency
fund.
(Rascop left the Meeting at 8:30 PM)
Administrator Vogt continued the possibility of contractual
maintenance for the Parks. Park Commission will be studing this
issue and returning with a recommendation to the Council.
John Bridge, Finance, Committee member, indicated that they had
gone over the items in this budget and felt that it was acceptable,
he would prefer if it could be kept equal with inflation.
PUBLIC HEARING SET
The Public Hearing to adopt the budget will be held on Monday,
September 29th, in the Council Chambers at 7:30 PM. The public
will have the right to comment and review the budget at this time.

ADJOURNMENT
Stover moved, seconded by Gagne to adjourn the Budget Review
Meeting of Tuesday, September 23, 1986 at 10:10 PM. Motion
carried ~ 4 ayes
