1. CONVENE CITY COUNCIL EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Love called the meeting to order at 6:02 P.M.

Present:
Mayor Love; Councilmembers Callies, Lizee, Turgeon, and Wellens; Administrator
Dawson; Attorney Keane; Special Counsel Kim Kozar
Absent:
None

Review Agenda
Without objection from Council, Mayor Love proceeded with the Agenda for the meeting.
2. REVIEW OF AFFADAVIT
Special Counsel Kozar stated the purpose of the executive closed session was pursuant to Minn. Stat.
Section 13d.05 Subd. 3(B) for attorney-client privilege discussion of settlement and litigation strategy in
the matter of Johnson v. City of Shorewood et al. Hennepin County Court File No. 27 CV 06-550 and
Johnson v. City of Shore wood et al. Hennepin County Court File No. CT 04-016195.
Discussion ensued with regard to the two cases.
3. ADJOURN
Wellens moved, Callies seconded, Adjourning the Executive Session Meeting of October 9, 2006, at
6:57 P.M. Motion passed 5/0.
