011976 PK MINThe January 19th meeting'of the Shorewood Park Commission was
called to order at ?:30 pm. Those present: Gray'Faulsen,
Breckheimer, Raby, 'Myatt, Congdon and Heiland.
Rill :Myatt discussed the possibility of using a county program
for putting Dike Trails in on County Roads. We will send a
letter off requesting the help from the county.

'Ye finalized our priorities for presentation to the Council
on January 26 . They are:
Grading at Manor after aquiring the YcKinley property
Building a Community Building at Cathcart
Plan and execute -bike trails
Badger Tennis Court
Landscape grading at kanor and Badger dividing it
equitably.
Long; Range Flans
The projections are that we will have 13,000 people here by the
year 2,000.
ne will use the criteria of 1 park /every 2,000 people. We'should
acauire � parks, by 2,000 and have bike trails and hiking trails
connecting them.

Develop reciprocal agreement between Chanhassen and Shorewood
for joint park development.
Look for possibilities for public access to lake in long range
plans.
