The May 17th meeting of the Park Commission was called to order by John Breck-
heimer. Breckheimer, Drews, Heiland and Raby were in attendance.

Signs John reported that the park signs need to be stained. thin will check to
see if - yuoodlife is appropriate for cedar.
Win presented the beach sign rules. The sign will be fastened to the lifeguard
stand. John recommended aluminum for the sign. `tie will make arrangements with
Joe Smith and see that the sign is completed and up by June lst.
Shady dills No progress has been made.
Manor :3uilding It was decided that the Park Commission should take another
look at the Manor Building in order to recommend to the Council that it should
be torn down, painted and used as a shelter, or should be repaired.
Cathcart :wilding — Architect Vern 'Watten attended the meeting 10 find out what
the Park Commission thought the warming house needed. He will try to have a
plan drawn up by the next meeting on June 7th. A 30' x 30' building with con—
cession stand, rest rooms, two doors, possibly windows with heavy screening to
protect from breakage, and carpeting over concrete floor were the requirements.
NEW BUSINESS
Manor Park Plan - Possible arrangements and space needed for various athletic areas
were briefly considered. It was recommended that the layout be studied in more
detail when more members were present.
Revenue Sharing — John wondered if a certain percentage of Revenue Sharing
money could be used each year for the parks.
Badger Warming House John suggested that we watch garage sales for chairs and
a table so that Park Commission meetings could be held at the Badger Park Warming
.r House.
Ordinance — Jim moved that the Park Commission study the possibility of a mini —
bike and off -road motorcycle ordinance. Win seconded, and it passed. Jim said
that he'd check other village ordinances and also motorcycle shops regarding
equipment and noise levels.
Adjournment Jim moved that the meeting be adjourned.
