Cathcart Building - Jim Heiland reported that a x'30 building
could- be constructed for $3000= $40011 with volunteer help. We hope
to build by the end of ;July,
Cathcart Concession Stand - Bill Keeler has set up a stand, se 111 mg
pop and candy bars. Duane Wannous who lives across the street from.;;
the park,';will run.the stand approximately two hours a day. Win
Drews volunteered to take weekly inventory.
Jim told us that Roger Hartman will spray paint the hockey.rnks if
we provide paint. Badger has only a primer coat'. $60 - $75 Is
needed for the job.
Bill. Keeler's suggestion of outlining the Cathcart baseball field
with chain link fence and paying for it with ads on the fence was
discussed.; Several. of us Vndicated our opposition to it,;'
Park signs which" have been routed by Park Commission members and
Bob Congdon are finished and ready for Wally` Salt to install.
Win asked that city equipment be parked as close to the city 'building;
as possible in Badger Park,
Jim Heiland mowed'that`we continue to negotiate with Mik "e Naylon to
develop a concept .plan for our parks. Motion seconded by Win and
passed. John Breckheimer moved and it was seconded that we adjourn.
