PARK COMMISSION MI NUTES ,

November 3, 1976
= The 'Shorewood Park Commission held`its meeting Wednesday 3,
with Bill Wyatt, Jean Raby, Tom Schmid, Jim Heila.nd, Judy MdCuskey.
and Bill Keeler, in attendance.
Jim - told us that the lights for the hockey rinks need uniform reflec-
tors with a ripple design for proper diffusion'. He will check with
Phil Bonthius on the lights.
We will have four meetings throughout Shorewood during November to
discuss the future of our parks. Our city will be divided into
four parts for those meetings. The h1anor Park area meeting is scheduled
for Monday, November 15th at the Coven*vkt; Church and the Christmas Lake'
Shady Hills area meeting is slated'foz Tuesday',' November 16 th at the
church also. Two meetings will beheld in the western area at Minne-
washta School. Tuesday, 'November'23rd, the area west of Eureka Road
will meet and Thursday, November,18th, the neighborhood: east of Eureka
Road (including Badger area and G'alpin Lake area) will have its
meeting.
Ed Hessler and Debbie Fellman will conduct the meetings which will be
held to one hour. They will describe, Shorewood parks as they exist
and tell.of dreams for the future:. will,be asked to brain -'
storm for ideas for - our long range park plan. Council and park com-
mission members are urged to attend the meetings.
