Minutes - December 6, 1976
The December 6th meeting of the Shorewood Park Commission was called
to order at Minnewashta Elementary School by Chairman Bill'Wyatt with;
Heiland, Breckheimer, Drews, Raby, McCuskey and Keeler present.'
Park planners Ed Hessler and Debbie rellman discussed the four com-
munity meetings we had in November. Attendance was sparse, and nega-
tive as well as positive feelings about parks were made known to us:
Ed wondered!if a door -to -door canvass might have been more effective.`
The report will include an introduction, ;summary of community meetings,
park board history, standards and recommendations of; Metro Council
and what they mean to Shorewood, development of criteria, priorities and
areas to be considered. Possibilities and options of a comprehensive plan
will also be covered.
