SHOREWOOD PARK COMMISSION MINUTES
Members Present: Chairman John Breckheimer, Roger Stein, Win Drews,
Gordon Lindstrom, Don Geettelman, Bill Keeler.
Guest: Bruce Carmichael.
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. Minutes of last
meeting approved. The chairman advised the commission that the council
re- appointed Breckheimer and Goettelman to an additional three year term.
The chairman read a letter dated December 23, 1978 from Jean Raby announc-
ing her resignation. Accepted with regret.
Mr. Carmichael again asked the commission for the use of Badger Park on
February 10 -11 for their 3rd annael Broomball Tournament Competition..
Concession stand on wheels, hours of 9:00 a.m. till 10:00 P.M. both days.
Commission approwed.request..Bruce also-informed comm. members of the
availability of volunteer help on the new building at such time it was
needed.
Badger Electricity waiting for Latterner. Bob Burke will submit quote
for heating ducts. Big Lake has mailed in quote for installation of
Plumbing which will go to Council. Assembly on one window has begun by
John Breckheimer (who lives at Badger). Screens must be built over
whole window from outside. Furnace may have to have new jete. Vent has
to be installeddinside bathroom facilities. Pay phone should be installed
as well as at Cathcart. Win will check with phone co. re: tates. Keeler
suggested we plan an open house when Badger basically finished.
Bill Keeler presented latest ideas for new modular concept for the
city offices. Total: prox. $113,000.00.
Eletkions Don G. moved that John Breckheimer's name be placed in
nomination for Vice - President. Seconded and approved.

_ Discussion of building- projections We will have`approx. 50- 60,000 esidents
by August. Price per building lots should possibly be incr o $350-
$400 per. Pos`eible new development at Silver Lake (Near Mountain) prox.

present ordinance whould go to Don G.
Bill Keeler presented new skating rules to be posted in warming houses.
