Memorandum Agreement for use of City Athletic Fields This agreement, as submitted by Village Attorney Kelly, was acceptable to the park commission except in the wording of the fee payable. Item 3 of the document. The park commission would prefer to have this fee worded in such a way as to allow a flat charge plus a charge for participate. a - 2 - • This would recognize the need for higher maintenance costs for those athletic associations with higher numbers of participates. We will be glad to discuss further with the council. Since this concept of charging the athletic associations for use of the city fields is new, we would prefer meeting with each association before establishing the fee level. Our goal will be to meet with one association each Park Commission meeting to explain the concept and we will start with the football organizations this month. Meeting adjourned at 9:40 P.M. Next meeting to be May 20, 1980 7:30 P.M. Respectfully submitted, Don Goettelman, Chairman Note for village office: Some members of the Park Commission have not • been receiving copies of the minutes. Please correct this.
