ROLL CALL Present: Roger Stein Mari Kooi Gary Carl Gordon Lindstrom Carol Butterfield ADULT EVENTS 10 K Race - Terry Kellogg No report Tennis Tournament Robert Gagne John Cranbrook Len George Launisse Cousins Ron Kramer . Jo Ann Lawton will not chair the tournament, but will help. A dult Softball - John Cranbrook The two fields at Freeman Park are booked. Volleyball - Ron Kramer Will set up 2 nets - get balls Tractor - Lawnmower Race - Ron Kramer NEED CHAIRMAN Nothing done yet. Fishing Contest - Greg Smith Mari Kooi met with Greg Smith, the date is fine - they are going to combine advertising. Bingo Contest - Lenny George - Tonka Men's Club Lenny George said there are plenty of people to run Bingo. They will give all of the take to the City. City will have to get the prizes. Jackets and hats were mentioned. 3:00 PM to 6:00 PIS was tentatively set for time. Dunk Tank - Marty Jakel No report Hot Air Balloon Rides - Ron Kramer SHARE Medical Association will provide the balloon, the pilot, and the fuel. They have their own insurance coverage - commission requested a copy. A "Champagne Ride for Two" was mentioned as a prize, with buttons being sold to cover the cost. KIDS GAMES - _Roger Stein The games will be held from 3:30 -4:30 PM on the south quarter of the football field. Pony Rides - Gary Carl Nothing done - Gary hasn't decided whether or not to have them yet. DISPLAYS Classic Cars John Menth is resigning Chairmanship and will send Bob Gagne a list of prospective exhibitors. NEED CHAIRMAN Gordon Lindstrom will contact Jim Stiller. Lonnie Cousins suggested the police might set up a "radar" ball throwing game. Concessions - Launisse Cousins Everything is going fine. Mu sic and Street Band - Jim Heiland /.Ron Kramer Snyder's bank "Trax" will play. Ron will check on the price ($300 or $400).
