BOOTH - SOUTH TONKA LITTLE LEAGUE - BOB MATTSON
Bob Mattson will set up a booth offering information on the Little League Program.
He will see about getting the radar gun from the SLMPSD to use for a ball throwing
speed booth next to his information booth. The Dunk Tank will also be in this
• area (along the north side of the tennis courts).
10 K RACE ( ?)
Terry Kellogg said she'll help someone do it. Joyce Mullen ?
MANDATORY MEETINGS
Chairman Carl asked staff to inform all Chairpersons of two mandatory meetings:
May 21 - Monday - 6:30 P.M.
June 4 - Monday - 6:30 P.M.
SOFTBALL - JOHN /CAROLE CRANBROOK
Carole said they have 50 - 60 people, they are trying for 72. They plan to start
at 8:00 A.M.
BESSIE BINGO - BILL KEELER
Notpresent - no report.
DUNK TANK - MARTY JAKEL
As it stands now, the tank must be picked up before 4:00 P.M. on Friday, June 22,
and returned before 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 23. Commission wants to see if
• they can keep the tank longer and deliver it directly to the next place it is
to be used.

HOT AIR BALLOON - RON KRAMER
• Several people talked to Ron. Share Balloon is to be used. Staff read a letter
to person handling balloon from Ron, explaining details. A $200.00 check okayed
by Finance person to pay for "Balloon Champagne Flight ".
PONY RIDES
Tentative.
CLASSIC CARS
Al McCutchen will see if he can get 25 - 30 cars here for display. He will not
be present. Commission discussed spaces, numbered and roped off, possible
Police Reserve help in parking them. They'll be parked in lot near
Country Club Road.
POLICE - BOOTH
Police will have squad and equipment on display. They request parking where
they can get out quickly in case of emergency.
ADVERTISING - MARI KOOI
- $10,000 goal set - '.large poster will have balloon that is colored -in as
goal rises.
• - Mari passed out information including a calendar.
CENTURY CLUB
Con Schmid volunteered to be pro temp Chairman until we get one.
HATS
Carole Cranbrook asked for hats, saying she thought they would sell at the
softball game.
BUTTONS - MARI KOOI
Mari asked about the number of buttons to order. Commission agreed on 1,000 buttons,
more can be ordered if necessary.
On Wednesday, May 16th, a "Make Buttons Party" will be held at Mari Kooi's home,
25760 Birch Bluff Road, at 7:00 P.M. Refreshments will be served. The buttons
have to be numbered and assembled, the more help that can be recruited, the less
time it will take.
SQUARE DANCING - CAROL BUTTERFIELD
Carol will check into Square Dancing this week.
