BABE RUTH DISCUSSION
The Park Commission feels that the dissension between the teams is up
to them to work out. They are concerned about what's good for the
Community.
The Commission discussed the condition of the Babe Ruth Field. They
feel that the condition of the field is substandard. It needs seeding,
fertilizer and work done on the fence. They discussed the fact that
as far as they know, absolutely no work has been done on the field by
the Babe Ruth League. They asked Niccum to pull a copy of the lease
and contract.
Field use was also discussed, and it is the general opinion that, although
the field may be constantly booked, it is seldom used.
Niccum was asked to double -check with Jones to see if he would have the
information for the lst meeting in January.
1990 COUNCIL LIAISONS
Niccum is requested to present the 1989 list. If everyone is agreeable,
the same schedule will be followed.
DECEMBER MEETING
