There was concern about dirt from the parking lot getting into the food, especially because it was so windy. He said they would have sold more concessions if the tent had been in a central location. He said he and Dan Randall were co-directors. He said Randall did a great job overseeing everything and getting things in shape. Lindstrom had some suggestions to improve the park. He suggested putting the player's benches on the outside of the fields, and leveling the ground with a retaining wall behind it (it is this way at Lake Ann Park in Chanhassen). He also suggested bleachers, trees, and playground equipment in that area. He said something has to be done in the southwest corner of the south field. Niccum said Zdrazil is working on this. Christensen said Zdrazil and his his crew graded, spread aglime, provided the water truck, the tractor, and sodded. He asked the Commission to write a letter, and to send copies to Council. He also felt the Council should co end Zdrazil and the crew for a job well done.
