Niccum Secretary 0 7/29/91 - PARR COMMISSION WORKSHOP - PAGE NINE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RECEIVED AFTER MEETING TO: COUNCIL, PARR COMMISSION, AND STAFF FROM: SUE NICCUM RE: PARRS OPERATING BUDGET DATE: TUESDAY, JULY 30, 1991 This afternoon I talked to David Callister, Tonka Bay Administrator. He mentioned Crescent Beach, and said there were two things he'd like to see done: 1. Get rid of the telephone poles used as a divider between the parking lot and the beach. • Build a wall of some type ..... we discussed a decorative block wall with built in benches on the beach side. 2. Build a new storage box. 3. We also need a new telephone for the beach...I am looking into two possibilities, a waterproof telephone or a waterproof telephone box. A payphone was discussed but Community Service's representative, John Raby, who handles the beaches does not want a payphone, he said it makes it very difficult for the life guards, especially in an emergency.
