MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER
Wilson called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Chairman Wilson, Commissioners Lindstrom, Dzurak, and Andrus;
Council Liaison Lewis; Administrator Hurm; and Park Secretary
Niccum
Absent: Commissioners Laberee, Mast and McCarty
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Andrus moved, Dzurak seconded, to approve the minutes of November 10,
1992 as corrected:

Motion carried, 4-0.
CONSIDERATION OF DRAFT RESOLUTION FROM HENNEPIN COUNTY PARK BOARD
"SAMPLE DRAFT - CITY OF - RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT
LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT/INTERIM REGIONAL RECREATION TRAIL CORRIDOR"
Doug Bryant, Hennepin Parks Superintendent, was unable to attend the
meeting. This item was postponed.
SKATING RINK HOURS
The Commission discussed rink hours. They decided to basically stick to
the hours used last year, but decided to let rink attendants use their
discretion. An example of discretion would be if nobody is skating at
8:30, the evening has been very quiet, and the rink closes at 9:30 - it
would make sense to close the rink earlier.
The Commission can review the "Rink Policy" at a future meeting.

DISCUSSION ON IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PARK PLAN
Dzurak updated the Commission. He said the committees have been
meeting.
A questionnaire was presented to the Commissioners for referendum
polling purposes, so the results could be compared with the previous
questionnaire results.
