(612) 474-3236 MEMO TO: Jim Norton, Dan Vogt, and Don Zdrazil FROM: Ev Beck, Finance Director DATE: June 11, 1985 RE: 1985 Road Projects On 6/10/85 I indicated to Council that the 1985 Street Improvement budget would provide most of the funds necessary to cover the $54,000 seal coating project that was proposed. (This of course depends upon how bids come in.) It is my understanding that the following acquisition and road projects are planned for 1985. 1985 Road Improvement Budget $129,818. Planned expenditures 1985: Road acquisition/Jim Bruce Probable Seal Coating Project 84-2 Project completion Upcoming Change Order on Project 84-2 by deleting estimated $28,300 of this Project 14,000 54,000 94,760 Shortfall (28,300) 034,460) ( 4,642) If the expense numbers I have listed are incorrect, not valid, or incomplete, please inform me immediately so I can correct information given to Council. I also understand that patching will be required prior to the seal coating project. A separate line item of $32,000 is available for patching for 1985. If we can determine the approximate cost we can commit those dollars to the seal coating project in order to make sure the entire project is funded this year.
