STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A QUOTE FOR PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AND
PROCEEDING WITH OTHER SITE IMPROVEMENTS FOR SILVERWOOD PARK
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood ("City") authorizes the replacement and purchase of
playground equipment for Silverwood Park playground; and,
WHEREAS, the installation of the playground equipment would require additional
improvements to accommodate the new equipment; and,
WHEREAS, the cost to the City would be about $212,901 for demolition of the existing
playground, and purchasing and installing the new playground equipment from
Minnesota Wisconsin; and
WHEREAS, the cost of other related improvements would be about $70,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Shorewood
hereby accepts the quotes from Minnesota -Wisconsin Playground to replace the
existing playground; proceed with acquiring bids for other site improvements at
Silverwood Park; and authorizes staff to execute the bid with Minnesota Wisconsin
Playground.
