RESOLUTION 21-101
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AUDIT ENGAGEMENT LETTER
WITH THE FIRM ABDO EICK & MEYERS LLP TO PROVIDE
FINANCIAL AUDIT SERVICES TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City is required to receive an annual financial audit in accordance with
generally accepted accounting principles; and
WHEREAS, the City has received an audit engagement letter from its current auditor,
Abdo Eick & Meyers LLP, detailing proposed financial audit services for the years
ending December 31, 2021, 2022 and 2023. The engagement letter details the audit
objective, audit procedures, and engagement -related administration, fees and other.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Shorewood City Council that:
1. The City Council hereby approves the audit engagement letter as
presented and authorizes the City Administrator to sign on behalf of the
City. The engagement letter is effective for the years ending December
31, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
2. Annual financial audit and reporting fees are included in the engagement
letter as $32,025, $32,550, and $33,175 for 2021, 2022, and 2023,
respectively.
