A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION FOR INSTALLATION OF A COMPOST
BIN FOR FREEMAN PARK COMMUNITY PARK
WHEREAS, Eagle Scout candidate Sam Larson, has proposed building and donating a
compost bin for the community garden which is located at Freeman Park, in the City of
Shorewood, County of Hennepin; and
WHEREAS, Eagle Scout candidate Sam Larson has specified the compost bin be
placed next to the community garden on the west side of the fencing; and
WHEREAS, the Park Commission has approved the placement of the compost bin and
it meets all maintenance policy requirements.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA HEREBY ACCEPTS THE DONATION TO BUILD AND
INSTALL A COMPOST BIN.
Adopted by the City Council of Shorewood, Minnesota this 8th day of November, 2021.
