22-013 Accepting Improvements and Authorizing Final Payment for the Enchanted Island and Shady Island Street Reclamation Project, City Project 18-11CITY OF SHOREWOOD RESOLUTION NO. 22-013 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVMENTS AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE ENCHANTED ISLAND & SHADY ISLAND STREET RECLAMATION PROJECT CITY PROJECT NO. 18-11 WHEREAS, on June 22, 2020, the City of Shorewood entered into a contract with Northwest Asphalt, Inc. for the Enchanted Island & Shady Island Street Reclamation Project, City Project 18-11; and, WHEREAS, the Contractor has completed the project work and has requested City acceptance of the project and final payment for the work performed and documented to date; and, WHEREAS, WSB has made final inspection of the project and recommends acceptance and final payment be made by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Shorewood as follows: The City hereby accepts the work completed pursuant to said contract and authorizes final payment to the Contractor, and all warranties shall commence as of the date of acceptance, February 14, 2022.
