RESOLUTION 22-039
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PUBLIC WORKS
MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT AND EQUIPMENT LOAN FORM OF AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Mutual Aid Agreement provides a process for units of government to
share public works personnel and equipment with other agencies within the State of
Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Equipment Loan Agreement provides a process for units of
government to request and supply equipment with other agencies within the State of
Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and the City Attorney have reviewed said
agreements and found them to be in order.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF SHOREWOOD,
MINNESOTA.
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into the Public Works Mutual
Aid Agreement.
2. The Form of Agreement for Equipment Sharing is hereby adopted for use, as needed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works and City Administrator
are both designated as the "Requesting Official' and the "Sending Official' for the Public
Works Joint Powers Mutual Aid Agreement.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 11th day of April, 2022.
