Background: The 2022 General Election was held on November 8, 2022 in Precinct 1,
Precinct 2, Precinct 3,and Precinct 4, in the City of Shorewood. The Election included
City Council (2) seats. The City’s Canvassing Board must approve the official election
results at a Canvasing Board Meeting between three and ten days of the General
Election and the City Clerk must certify that all of the ballots cast at the General Election
were carefully tabulated and that the number of votes marked opposite the respective
names of the candidates or propositions, correctly shows the number of votes cast.
The special Election Canvas Board meeting is set for Monday, November 14, 2022 at
7:00 p.m. which will be directly followed by the Regular City Council Meeting.
Action Requested: Staff respectfully Recommends the City Council Approve
Resolution 22-118 Accepting the Local Results of the 2022 General Election and sign
the official Abstract of Votes Cast as a member of the City’s Canvassing Board.

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING LOCAL RESULTS
OF THE 2022 GENERAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, a General Election was held on November 8, 2022, in Precinct 1, Precinct
2, Precinct 3, and Precinct 4 of the City of Shorewood; and
WHEREAS, said election results are officially contained in the tabulation attached
hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Canvassing Board of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
That the tabulation of election results for the General Election held on November 8,
2022, as contained in the tabulation attached hereto as Exhibit A is hereby approved.
ADOPTED BY THE CANVASSING BOARD OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this
14th day of November 2022.

City of Shorewood Election held Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the County of Hennepin,
State of Minnesota. Results for Shorewood Precinct 4 in Carver County were 0 as there are
currently no residences in the Precinct. At an Election held in Shorewood Precinct 1, Precinct
2, and Precinct 3 in Hennepin County, the following named persons or propositions received
the number of votes as indicated below:
