ORDINANCE NO. 23
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 12 RELATING
TO ESTABLISHMENT OF
HARBOR LIMI'I1S AND
PROHIBITING NUlSANOES
THEREIN
The Village Council of the Vil-
lage of Shorewood, Minnesota, do
ordain:
SECTION 1. AMENDMENT.
That Section 7 of Ordinance No.
12 of the Village of Shorewood
be amended by adding thereto the
fonowing:
"Subsection 12. Operating a
boat or other watercraft on
the waters of Galpin's Lake
within the harbor limits of
the village, with any motor
or other souree of power
having a rated horsepower
in excess of seven and one-
half."
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE
DATE. This ordinance shall take
effect from and after its passage
and pulblication.

day of June, 1959.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND
ORDINANCE NO. 17
REGULATING THE USE OF
HIGHWAYS WITHIN THE
VILLAGE OF SiHOREWOOD,
INCORPORATING PROVISIONS
OF THE STAT'E HIGHWAY
TRAFFIC R,EGULAnON ACT
BY REFERENCE, AND
IMPOSING A PENALTY FOR
THE VIOLATION THEREOF
The Village Counucil of the Vil-
lage of Shorewood, Minnesota, do
ordain as follows:
Section 1. That section 1 of
Ordinance No. 17 of the Villag'e
of Shorewood be amended to read
as follows:
Tlhe regulatory provisions. of
Minnesota Statutes 45, Chapter
169, a;s amended by Laws' 1947,
Laws 1949, Laws 1951, Laws 1955,
Laws 19'57, and Laws 1959, are
hereby adopted as a traffic ordi-
nance regulating the use of high-
way's, streets and alleys in the
village and are hereby incorpora t-
ed and made part of tJhis ordinance
as completely as if :set out here in
full.
Section 2. This ordinance shall
take effect from and rufter its
passage and publication.
