RESOLUTION 23-058
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXTENSION TO THE FINAL PLAT APPROVAL FOR
EXCELSIOR WOODS FOR PROPERTY AT 20325 EXCELSIOR BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood approved a previous request for an extension on January 9, 2023 for
Red Granite Construction, LLC. (the "Applicant") for a final plat and development agreement extension
for the property legally described as:
Lot 37, Auditor's Subdivision No. 141, Hennepin County, Minnesota;
WHEREAS, Resolution 23-003 included a condition that the approvals would expire in 180 days unless
the final plat and other required materials are recorded or an extension has been approved; and
WHEREAS, the 180-day period would have expired on June 18, 2023, without request for an extension
subject to Chapter 1202.03 Subd. 3 c; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant has outstanding conditions of approval that they have yet to satisfy.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD,
MINNESOTA that the deadline to submit the final plat to be called "Excelsior Woods", is hereby
extended and the Agreement amendments are hereby approved, subject to the following conditions:
1. The final plat approved by the City of Shorewood Resolution 21-073 and extended by resolution be
recorded with the county recorder or registrar of titles to December 23, 2023.
2. All conditions listed in Resolution 21-073 shall be adhered to.
