A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT QUOTES AND AWARD CONTRACT FOR THE 2024 MANHOLE
REHABILITATION PROJECT; CITY PROJECT 24-02
WHEREAS, pursuant to the solicitation for quotes for the 2024 Manhole Rehabilitation Project,
quotes were received on February 16th, 2024, opened and tabulated according to law, with the
following quotes received:

WHEREAS, Floorcoat Midwest. is the lowest responsible quote; and
WHEREAS, Floorcoat Midwest. is a responsible and responsive contractor, that has completed
projects of similar size and scope successfully; and
WHEREAS, the project is included in the 2024 Capital Improvements Plan and will fund the
project through the Sanitary Fund; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD,
MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council of the City of Shorewood hereby accepts all quotes and authorizes to enter
into a contract with Floorcoat Midwest based on the lowest quote amount in the name of the
City of Shorewood for the 2024 Manhole Rehabilitation Project according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
Adopted by the City Council of Shorewood, Minnesota this 11th day of March, 2024.
