A RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH DEEPHAVEN FOR
MANOR ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, in 2021 Shorewood completed a mill & overlay project of Manor Road with the
intent to end construction at the municipal boundary shared with Deephaven; and
WHEREAS, Deephaven contacted Shorewood and asked if they wanted Deephaven to complete
roadway improvements for a 150-foot gap of pavement that would not have been improved
between the 2021 Shorewood project and their upcoming 2024 pavement project; and
WHEREAS, staff reviewed and determined that the existing Shorewood city limit sign is placed
approximately 150 feet southwest of the actual municipal boundary and is where construction
limits were terminated in 2021; and
WHEREAS, Shorewood's cost participation is estimated to be $21,217.73 which includes the
amount bid as Alternate 1 for $18,450.20 plus 15% for design and construction administration.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD,
MINNESOTA that the City Council approves agreement with the City of Deephaven to complete
the described improvements to Manor Road.
Adopted by the City Council of Shorewood, Minnesota this 22nd day of April 2024.
