A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT QUOTES AND AWARD CONTRACT FOR
WATER TOWER CLEANING
CITY PROJECT 24-05
WHEREAS, the city solicited quotes which were received on May 21, 2024, opened and
tabulated according to law, with the following quotes received and complying with the request
for quote:

$11,700.00
Hartung Xoatings
$14,900.00
WHEREAS, Slack Painting, LLC. is the lowest responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, Slack Painting, LLC. is a responsible and responsive contractor, that has completed
projects of similar size and scope successfully; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby accepts the quotes and awards
the low quote for the Water Tower Cleaning, City Project 24-05 to Slack Painting, LLC in the
amount of $9,850.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and staff are hereby authorized to execute a contract
with Slack Painting, LLC. based on the lowest quote amount for the Water Tower Cleaning, City
Project 24-05.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 28t" day of May 2024.
