RESOLUTION 24-048
A RESOLUTION APPROVING FOOD TRUCKS FOR PUBLIC EVENTS — CONCERT IN THE PARK AND
MOVIE IN THE PARK
WHEREAS, the City has coordinated food truck services for the annual Concert in the Park and
Movie in the Park events at Freeman Park; and
WHEREAS, food trucks may be allowed for approved special events as authorized by written
permit from the City Council, pursuant to the City of Shorewood Code section §902.02 Subd. 7;
and
WHEREAS, Pizza Karma will attend the Concert in the Park event on Thursday, July 11 at
Freeman Park; and
WHEREAS, Pretty Great Cheesecake & Cake Shakes will attend the Movie in the Park event on
Friday, August 23 at Freeman Park.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD,
MINNESOTA, that food trucks are hereby authorized to be in the parks for the following city
events:
1. Pizza Karma Food Truck for July 11, 2024 Concert in the Park at Freeman Park.
2. Pretty Great Cheesecake & Cake Shakes for August 23, 2024 Movie in the Park at
Freeman Park.
Adopted by the City Council of Shorewood, Minnesota this 24 day of June, 2024.
