A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT QUOTES AND AWARD CONTRACT FOR
WEST WATER TOWER CLEANING
CITY PROJECT 24-05
WHEREAS, the city solicited quotes which were received on July 31, 2024, opened and
tabulated according to law, with the following quotes received and complying with the request
for quote:
Slack Painting, LLC
$14,850.00
Midwest Mobile Washer
$15,775.00
Manthei Maintenance
$27,999.00
WHEREAS, Slack Painting, LLC. is the lowest responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, Slack Painting, LLC. is a responsible and responsive contractor, that has
completed projects of similar size and scope successfully; and
NOW THEREFORE, IT RESOLVED: by the City Council of the City of Shorewood hereby
authorizes and directs the Mayor and Staff to enter into a contract with Slack Painting, LLC.
based on the lowest quote amount for the West Water Tower Cleaning project.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 12th day of
August 2024.
