A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER #1 FOR THE 2024 MANHOLE REHABILITATION
PROJECT; CITY PROJECT 24-02
WHEREAS, the City awarded the 2024 Manhole Rehabilitation Project in March 2024 to
Floorcoat Midwest in the amount of $34,700 for the rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer
manholes to reduce the amount of inflow and infiltration; and
WHEREAS, the City is under budget on the work as bid and would like to add five additional
sanitary sewer manholes to rehabilitate; and
WHEREAS, Floorcoat Midwest will honor the unit prices in the orginial bid for the additional
work; and
WHEREAS, the project is included in the 2024 Capital Improvements Plan and will fund the
project through the Sanitary Fund; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood hereby
authorizes Change Order #1 in the amount of $19,725 with Floorcoat Midwest for the 2024
Manhole Rehabilitation Project, City Project 24-02. The new contract amount will be $54,425.
