ORDINANCE 608:
AN ORDINANCE
REGARDING ZONING
REGULATIONS TO
IMPLEMENT THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
DIRECTION FOR HIGH
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL USE
Section 1. At a duly called
meeting on October 28, 2024, the
City Council of the City of Shore-
wood adopted Ordinance No. 608
entitled "Amending the Shorewood
City Code Chapter 1201 to imple-
ment the comprehensive Plan di-
rection for High Density Residential
Uses." The City Council adopted a
lengthy ordinance amending City
Code Chapter 1201 (Zoning Regu-
lations) to amend the R-3B zoning
district and other provisions of City
Code (including but not limited to
definitions, impervious surface cov-
erage, elderly housing and parking)
to allow properties guided for High
Density Residential in the Com-
prehensive Plan to be developed
consistent with the Plans direction.
The purpose of this summary is
to inform the public of the intent
and effect of the ordinance but to
publish only a summary of the ordi-
nance with the full ordinance being
on file in the office of the City Clerk
during regular office hours and
available on the city's website.
Section 2. This ordinance
adopting ORDINANCE 608: AN
ORDINANCE REGARDING ZON-
ING REGULATIONS TO IMPLE-
MENT THE COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN DIRECTION FOR HIGH DEN-
SITY RESIDENTIAL USE shall take
effect upon publication in the City's
official newspaper.
